Coldplay at the MTV Europe Awards

November 14, 2002 10:12 PM

Coldplay only came through on one of their 4 nominations at this year's European MTV Music Awards. They came away with the award for Best UK & Ireland Act. I thought for sure they'd be strong candidates for the other awards, but it looks like the winners were pretty well spread out, which isn't always a bad thing. There's a great picture of the band taken on the red carpet at the MTV Europe site.

New UK Date Announced

November 11, 2002 9:05 PM

Due to popular demand, and the expenses incurred in having Hollywood movie star girlfriends, Coldplay have added an extra date to their forthcoming UK arena jaunt. Following the previously announced London show at the Capital's Earls Court venue on April 16, which sold out in less than 24 hours, Coldplay will now take to the stage at the same venue the next day, April 17. Before the London dates, the band also play the previously announced show at Manchester M.E.N Arena on April 14.

s MTV Europe Music Awards 2002 on Thursday, November 14, at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona. Joining Coldplay on the performers line-up for the biggest Award ceremony in the history of the gong, are Christina Aguilera, Eminem, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, Moby, and Royksopp.

Tune in and get excited.

PlayLouder...No, Wait, Shutup!

November 08, 2002 1:14 AM

What is up with the guys over at PlayLouder? They are notorious for making snide remarks about Chris Martin and the rest of the band. It's really stupid if you ask me. This time around they've gone so far as to call Chris a "scary bedwetting Christian." See it for yourself at
