Download Coldplay's Free Live Album, "LeftRightLeftRightLeft"

Coldplay has released a new live album, "LeftRightLeftRightLeft," for free today. They'll be giving it away at all their upcoming shows. If you're like me and tried to download it from the official download location without any luck (they appear to be suffering from massive load on their web server), you can also get the album from Mininova, using your favorite BitTorrent client (I recommend uTorrent).

So what are you waiting for? Go get it!

Jem Covers Coldplay's "Yellow"

Jem recently recorded a much mellower version of Coldplay's hit song, "Yellow." She described the cover in a post at her website back in February:

That's right folks. I recently recorded a cover of Coldplay's 'Yellow' for a Starbucks Valentines Day Compilation out now in the US. It's in all the stores and on itunes too so check it out if you fancy hearing my slower stripped down version. I am really happy with how it turned out, very beautiful methinks. I produced the song and enlisted the great talents of Jeff Atmajian on piano. (Jeff informed me during the process that I could give Streisand a run for her money with all my notes, I took that as a compliment..!)

Happy 31st, Guy!

If he's over in the UK right now, then his birthday is probably almost over by now, but since I'm in the U.S., there's still plenty of time to wish Guy Berryman a very happy 31st birthday. Guy was born on this day in 1978. Happy birthday, Guy!

If you're a big Coldplay fan and you've got a bedroom filled with Coldplay stuff to prove it, get in touch. You might have a chance at getting your photo taken for an article that is currently being written about the band. Better still, include a link to a picture of your room in your message. You can use a free image hosting site like TinyPic if you need to put the picture up somewhere.
