Another Example of Terrible Journalism

I've found yet another fine example...scratch that, embarrassing example of bad journalism. This time around the culprit is Aaron Alford, who in his article, Coldplay regurgitates, goes on and on about how unoriginal and unimportant Coldplay's latest album is. That isn't the terrible part, though. Afterall, everyone's allowed to have their own opinion (just ask one of Gallaghers of Oasis fame). However, it's not cool to include flat out lies in your reporting, and Aaron has done just that:
Hidden track "Til Kingdom Come" was penned by Johnny Cash before his death but never recorded by the man in black. This eternal love song sounds just like Cash, not Coldplay, which is a testament to the band doing the tune justice, but isn't there someone more deserving to play the legend's swan song?
The song was not written by Johnny Cash, it was written for Johnny Cash, rendering the rest of the article pretty much meaningless.
If you're as frustrated as I am by this kind of misinformed reporting, you can send a complaint in to The Battalion's editor at email@example.com.
