Based on email I've been receiving, Coldplay fans are getting quite a kick out of "Christy," the girl who paid $350,000 to sing "In My Place" with Coldplay on stage at Madison Square Garden. For those of you who are interested in finding out more about it, here are a few articles to check out:

In other news, the San Diego Channel reports that Chris Martin is up against the likes of Eddie Vedder, Thom Yorke, Moby and many others for the title "Sexiest Vegetarian Alive." PETA is apparently holding the contest at its website, and you can even vote!
The band has switched into festival mode this weekend, as they played Roskilde last night and are scheduled to play Glastonbury this weekend. Hopefully any of the lucky fans who were able to see either performance will send in reviews and/or setlists.
And finally, according to the Official Coldplay Website, we can all get excited about July. The band is scheduled to release "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face" as a single with "Murder" as its b-side. They are also planning to release a limited edition single (1000 copies only) containing a remix of "Clocks" by Royksopp and another remix of "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face" by Def Inc (featuring Mr Thing). 100 of the 1000 copies will be released via the Coldplay Shop on July 14th.
