Jennie was kind enough to write in with an offer for visitors of my site. Apparently bookitfaster.com has a limited number of tickets available for the concert in Lille on March 27th. The price is apparently 50 Euros, so check it out.
Peter Davias from Sound World Music Online wrote in to say "the Coldplay single 'CLOCKS' has been lowered in price, it is now retailing for only AUS $4.95." Be sure to place an order if you haven't already!
And finally, Terry, another one of our loyal visitors sent in an excellent review of the Minneapolis show from March 13th:
As the bottom the the $25 concert t-shirt says, this is the last stop on this leg of the tour before the 4 boys from Coldplay dash back accross the pond. The stage was set up center court of Target Center, home of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who on occaision have been known to "play cold". But the premiere band from the UK heated up a cold Minnesota night. Opening up with Politik, which had to be the opening, from the opening number the crowd was energized by Chris Martin who would almost need a seat belt on his piano stool to keep him from crashing to the stage. The band mixed hi energy cuts with piano ones from their millon seller records of "Parachutes" and "A Rush of Blood to the Head". 3/4 of the way thru the concert and explosion took place when the yellow strobe lights beamed over the audience, any not left standing in the upper level during "Yellow" were out of place. Coming out for 3 encore songs including "Clocks" and "In my place", the band had conquered and won over everyone from the land of 10,000 lakes.
