Billboard's Critics' Choice and Football

Apparently Coldplay received the honor of having their last release, 'A Rush of Blood to the Head,' named Billboard's Critics' Choice for 2002. In an article at Billboard.com, they give a run down of some of the album's competition:

Coldplay's album narrowly edged out Queens Of The Stone Age's Interscope set "Songs for the Deaf," which is No. 2 on the list. The top-5 is rounded out by Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" (Nonesuch), Norah Jones's "Come Away With Me" (Blue Note), and Bruce Springsteen's "The Rising" (Columbia).

In unrelated news, you might have heard a bit of 'In My Place' tonight if you caught the Green Bay Packers vs. Atlanta Falcons football game tonight. They played the opening riff during a pause in game play during the 4th quarter.
