Chris Martin and Johnny Buckland are to take part in the Oxfam Fairplay gig in London this week and claim it will be "the best concert of all time".
The Coldplay stars join acts including Ms Dynamite, Noel Gallagher, Idlewild and Lamb for the event, which takes place at London's Astoria tomorrow night.
Martin, who is heavily involved with the charity, explained: "We decided that the Fairplay concert was such a good idea that we're gonna play it as well. So we'll be there, playing with some incredibly special guests, and it'll be the best concert of all time. Apart from other ones that were just as good!"
He told Radio 1: "I think it's a really amazing idea and there are some really cool people playing at it. A few comedians are doing it as well. It's bigger than Live Aid. It should be bigger than Live Aid anyway"
#Organisers hope that the concert will raise 40,000 for coffee farmers in Haiti and raise the profile of Oxfam's 'Make Trade Fair' campaign.
